Southern State CC Hires Ken Lowe to lead 1st Womens' Soccer Team.

Ken Lowe has been hired to be the first head coach for Southern State CC Women's Soccer program.  SSCC will field a Women's soccer team for the first time in the 40 years of the college.  "SSCC is glad to be able to hire someone who will work to make our Women's Soccer program a success" AD Matt Wells said. 

Coach Lowe comes to Southern State with over 37 years of expexience of coaching: 

MYBA – Baseball, Softball, Umpire Coordinator, MTSC- Miami Township Soccer Club, AAU Basketball – Cincy Ice, Batavia Recreation League – Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Batavia School District – Basketball, Football, Baseball, Track, Softball, Soccer, Bethel Tate School District – Soccer, Williamsburg School District – Soccer, Basketball, Goshen School District – Soccer, University Cincinnati Clermont – Volunteer (Women's Basketball), Ohio High School Athletic Association Official – Baseball, Basketball, Softball,Soccer.

"The team has been working extremely hard over the summer, but like any start up program our numbers are low.  Getting the opportunity to recruit in the 5 counties will boost our numbers for this year and those to follow," said Coach Lowe.
