Hillsboro, OH - SSCC Lady Patriots would open Friday with a strong team win vs Hocking College 81-69. It was a historic night for Senior Natasha Barr (West Union High School), would score her 1,000 USCAA career point. With 7:34 left in the 1st quarter, Natasha would knockdown a 3pt. shot from the right wing. Natasha would be presented with the game ball and pictures with family and friends. When the game resumed, SSCC would hold a 3 point lead in halftime and then take control in the 2nd half. Winning 81-69, improving on the season with 3 wins and 4 losses. Natasha Barr, would score 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Emma Wardlow(Whiteoak HS) would score 22 points and grab 12 rebounds. Jayde Parr (Whiteoak HS) would also track down 10 rebounds. Saturday, the Women would take on USCAA PSU-Greater Allegheny. It would be a tough contested game with the Patriots up 44-40 at half. In the 3rd quarter the Patriots would outscore the Nittany Lions, 29-7, and would run away with a 99-61 victory. This evens their season record to 4 wins and 4 losses. Again, Natasha Barr (West Union) would lead the way with 28 points and 12 rebounds, Morgan Fittro (Lynchburg-Clay) would total 20 points and Bailey Countyman would come off the bench and score 12 points, going 4-7 from behind the arc.
