Lady Patriots lose two over the weekend.

HILLSBORO, Ohio – The Southern State Community College women's basketball team moved to 0-2 on the year after going 0-2 this past weekend at Southern State. The Patriots were defeated  by Kentucky Christian , 52-91, and fell to Wright State - Lake, 57-74.Two Patriots scored in double figures vs. KCU with freshman Staci Dinsmore(North Adams) leading the way with 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the year. Sophomore Morgan Fittro scored 10 points and dished out 4 assits. Sophomore Cierra White(Blanchester) socred points going 2 for 3 from 3pt land.Freshmand Bailey Countryman(Paint Valley) would score 7 points in her debut.Southern State's second game of the weekend with wright State-Lake proved to be more competitive as the Patriots fell 57-74. Again the Patriots had two players in double figures with Fittro leading the way with 18 points. Dinsmore recorded 15 points, and Natasha Barr(West Union) scored 7 points and grab 10 rebounds.The Patriots will hit the road for their first road game on Wenesday November 9 at Miami University-Hamilton starting at 5:30pm.  Then return home on November 11 Friday at 5:00 pm vs Penn State Greater Allegheny and then again at home on November 12, Saturday at 6:30pm vs Andrews University from Michigan.
